The album was recorded in front of over 30,000 college students at three separate Passion gatherings in Atlanta and Houston. The new album follows in the footsteps of many successful live Passion recordings this decade, including Passion: Awakening, Passion: Here For You, Passion: White Flag, Passion: Let the Future Begin and most recently Passion: Take It All, all of which have debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums Chart.

I think the release of the new Passion CD is anticipated by many each year. I think their newest title, Even So Come, is no exception! With music from Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Kristian Stanfill, Christy Nockles, Matt Redmond, and others this CD features some of Christian music’s top artists.

With the variety of artists comes a variety of music styles. I really liked Kristian Stanfill’s It is Well. I enjoyed the simplicity of the song and hearing everyone in the background singing.

Here is a sample of the album:

As a Chris Tomlin fan, I really enjoyed getting new music from him. I love the picture painted in Even So Come where it talks about the church being ready for her groom. I love the imagery here and the image it paints. I think it is a great reminder for Christians of what is going to come and helps us not lose sight of it. I also like The Cross of Christ and the reminder of what the cross means for Christians.

One of Christy Nockles’s songs, My Anchor, is one I think we will be hearing a lot more of. I’m not sure if it will be on the radio or in churches, but it is one I think will be played many times.

I look forward to the new Passion albums for a number of reasons and I enjoyed this one very much. I like the words to many of the songs and the variety of artists as well.
