Setting up a website can feel like a daunting task. There is a lot of new terminology and so many options to choose from. Even if you are comfortable with some computer programs, it can feel overwhelming and time-consuming trying to understand it all. When I started with my first website I didn’t know what I was doing. I was intimidated and confused. I didn’t have a step by step process (like the one below). It can be easy to assume that the process of setting up a hosting service (choosing a company that provides the technologies and services needed for your website to be viewed on the Internet) is complicated and time-consuming, but it’s not.
